At Art & Soul Dance Academy, we focus on nurturing each dancer's unique style while fostering a love for dance in every student. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to guiding students of all ages and abilities, emphasizing creativity, technique, and confidence. Art & Soul Dance Academy

We present two major performances each year:
Winter Showcase and Spring Showcase.

In addition to these productions, students may take part in special performance projects throughout the year. These can include community events, gallery collaborations, holiday celebrations, or local festivals. We also encourage dancers to explore opportunities in school and the community, gaining valuable stage experience and expanding their performance skills.

Jazz

Beginner to Advanced Levels

Jazz is a dance style that has been developing into new and interesting iterations in the past years. Our jazz classes are centered around classical jazz technique which allows for the leaps, turns and tricks that wow audiences. Classes emphasize musicality and body alignment, conditioning, stretch and strengthening, rhythm and stylization as well as fun and innovative choreography.

Beginner to Advanced Levels

Combo Classes

Ages 3 to 6

The perfect 45 min class to welcome your child to the art of dance. This class is comprised of fun filled songs that introduce your child to Ballet, and Tap.

These classes start with 20 min of ballet, learning ballet positions and basic steps. After a short bathroom and drink break, class resumes for tap to start learning the beginning tap steps as well as working on some gross motor skills. Combo classes for 3-4 year old focus more on learning gross motor skills.

Hip Hop

Street Starters hip hop to Advanced Levels
Hip hop dance classes are energetic and focus on emphasizing rhythm, musicality, and individual expression.
Classes cater to various experience levels, from beginners to advanced, and often incorporate foundational techniques, freestyle elements and dynamic movements. Classes focus on rhythm, musicality, personal expression and performance quality while teaching foundational techniques and the latest trends in commercial choreography.

Beginner to Advanced Levels
Lyrical dance is a graceful and expressive dance form as well. It blends elements of ballet and jazz, focusing on emotional storytelling through fluid, flowing movements. It emphasizes the interpretation of music lyrics and the expression of emotions through body language and facial expressions. Dancers explore balance, strength and flexibility. Modern dance typically focuses on expressive movement, exploring space, time and energy through a variety of techniques.
